FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
September 5, 2006
The meeting was called to order by Carroll Parmeter at 7:00 p.m. Ron Shaver, Paul Williams, Sally Hackenberg, Pam Altimus and Carroll Parmeter and eleven visitors were all present.
AGENDA
Sally made the motion to approve the Agenda with addition of budget amendments under New Business and discussion of the ADA ramp under reports seconded by Pam motion carried.
MINUTES
Ron made the motion to approve the August 14 minutes, seconded by Paul, motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE
District meeting notice from MTA, Carroll made a motion to send three people to the MTA District meeting in Battle Creek, seconded by Paul, motion carried.
REPORTS
Shalice was present-Sally made a motion to approve the 4029 schedule with a township millage of .9221, seconded by Pam, roll call vote Pam-yes, Sally-yes, Ron-yes, Paul-yes and Carroll-yes.
Rural Inspection-It was board consensus to run the ADA ramp 16 feet straight out the east door.
Sexton Report-It was general consensus to have Bill do the monument foundations for the township cemeteries.
OLD BUSINESS
Municipal Ordinance update-there is three currently open, and three issued compliance orders.
Paint bids-Ron made the motion to accept the bid from Shirley Davis of $5133 to paint the exterior of the township hall and to have it completed by Oct. 15, seconded by Paul with a roll call vote Pam-yes, Sally-yes, Paul-yes, Ron-yes and Carroll-yes.
No information about the Right of Way for the cemetery on Floating Bridge Rd. yet.
NEW BUSINESS
Budget amendments-Ron made the motion to take $595.08 from Three Rivers Ambulance, $500 from Planning, $500 from postage, $200 from books, $500 Tax Roll, $449.37 Building Main, $500 Grounds (total of $3244.45) add to Marcellus Fire $1696.52, Audit $20, Printing and Publishing $107.93, Heating $420, and Burial Fee $1000(total 3244.45), seconded by Paul with a roll call vote; Carroll-yes, Paul-yes, Sally-yes, Ron-yes and Pam-yes.
APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES
Paul made the motion to approve expenditures 2372 thru 2401, seconded by Pam, motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Paul made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Sally, motion carried with the meeting adjourning at 9:32 p.m.
