Flowerfield Township Meeting Minutes

 FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
September 2, 2008

Supervisor Carroll Parmeter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.   Ron Shaver, Paul Williams, Pam Altimus, Sally Hackenberg and Carroll Parmeter were all present.  There were three visitors.

AGENDA
Sally made the motion to accept the Agenda, seconded by Paul, motion carried.

COMMENTS
The comment was made that our gravel roads are like washboards.

MINUTES
Ron made the motion to approve the Aug. 11 minutes, seconded by Paul, motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE
A letter was received from the County Road Commission informing us that they are keeping the current program in effect, but to be more selective in which gravel roads will qualify for a match from the Road Commission.  The letter is on file at the Clerks office.

A letter thanking the township for contractual support for the Domestic Assault Shelter was also received.

REPORTS
Assessor Shalice was not present.

PCB-Ron informed the board members that the Master plan is final enough to bring to the board members to review.   The PCB wants the Twp board members to come to the Oct. 30. meeting for any questions and review.

Sexton-Bill was present and stated that there was one burial and also discussed the broken headstones with the board.

EXPENDITURES
Paul made the motion to approve expenditures 3025 thru 3049, seconded by Sally, motion carried.

ADJOURN
Sally made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Pam, motion carried with the meeting ending at 7:40 p.m.
