Flowerfield Township Meeting Minutes
FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Carroll Parmeter at 7:00 p.m. Paul Williams, Ron Shaver, Pam Altimus, Sally Hackenberg and Carroll Parmeter were all present. There were also five visitors. AGENDA The motion was made by Sally to approve the Agenda, seconded by Paul, motion carried. MINUTES Sally made the motion to approve the minutes of the July 5th meeting, seconded by Pam, motion carried. REPORTS Assessor was not present Rural Inspection-Charlie was present and gave a short report on permits. PCB – They discussed with the board information Ritesma’s plans for duplexes on their property similar to duplexes that are in Oshtemo. OLD BUSINESS Municipal Ord. Update- The enforcement officer will visit the Blentlinger property again, the twp attorney will send a letter to Spicketts, Susan Lee (Cassada), Henson, Meredith Bainbridge and Leo Swartz and a citation to Daniels, Collins and Pastorick. A motion was made by Sally to have John Depierre make copies of the Ordinance book as he suggested (one edit and two permanent copies for around $575.00), seconded by Paul with a roll call vote as follows; Ron-yes, Paul-yes, Carroll-yes, Sally-yes and Pam-yes. Motion carried. The new Electrical Ord. The board discussed requirements, we have to have an electrical contractor on the Construction Board and also need to send in to the state duties of the Electrical Inspector. Larry Wiles has asked to combine parcels, it was discussed by the board that we do not need to approve this. EXPENDITURES Pam made the motion to approve expenditures 1988 thru 2011, seconded by Paul, motion carried. Sally made the motion to adjourn, Paul seconded, motion carried with the meeting adjourning at 8:00 p.m.
