Flowerfield Township Meeting Minutes

 FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
June 2, 2008

Supervisor Carroll Parmeter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  There were four board members present, Pam Altimus, Sally Hackenberg, Paul Williams and Carroll Parmeter.  There were six visitors. 

AGENDA
Paul made the motion to approve the Agenda, seconded by Pam, motion carried.

MINUTES
Paul made the motion to approve the May 12, 2008 board meeting minutes, seconded by Pam, motion carried.

SPECIAL GUESTS
We had several special guests, Matt Lori and Monte Bordner.  They both are running for 59th District Representative and gave us a short presentation of what they would like to accomplish if they were elected.  

Chauncey Hackenberg was present to talk to the board about installing fans and new lights at the township hall before the Aug. election.

Pat Brown was present to discuss with the board the on- going problem with our gravel roads. 

REPORTS
Assessor-Shalice was not present.

PCB-not present

Sexton-It was mentioned to Bill to take the flags off the cemetery after July 4th and put them back on for Labor Day.

Ordinance Enforcer-Doug mentioned that he has had several emails from Al Ives concerning clean up.

EXPENDITURES
Pam made the motion to approve expenditures 2949 thru 2979, seconded by Paul, motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
Sally made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Pam, motion carried with the meeting adjourning at 8:20 p.m.
